Burkittsville is participating in Sustainable Maryland Certified (SMC), a program of the Environmental Finance Center at the University of Maryland. SMC supports Maryland muni-cipalities as they look for cost-effective and strategic ways to protect their natural assets and revitalize their communities.

Survey & Action Plan

In fall 2014, the Sustainable Burkittsville Green Team issued a Community Survey to find out what our residents want to see happen in our community. 



Then the Team created a 3-Year Action Plan.
